La Fundació i2CAT està cercant un/a administratiu/va per incorporar-se a l’equip de Project Management Office (PMO), que donarà suport transversal a l’equip en la gestió administrativa de projectes competitius, especialment en la preparació d’auditories, justificacions econòmiques i gestió de recursos humans associats als projectes. Treballarà en coordinació amb el departament finances, People and Talent i amb els gestors i gestores de l'equip.

Responsabilitats de la persona seleccionada:

• Preparació administrativa d’auditories i revisions: compilar, revisar i organitzar la documentació necessària per a auditories internes o externes vinculades a projectes competitius, garantint el compliment dels requisits establerts pels organismes finançadors.
• Suport administratiu en la preparació de propostes competitives: donar suport en la recopilació de documentació administrativa, en la gestió de terminis i en la coordinació amb les diferents àrees implicades durant la fase de preparació de propostes.
• Seguiment administratiu de projectes competitius no coordinats: fer el seguiment dels compromisos i terminis administratius i donar suport als investigadors responsables en la correcta execució documental dels projectes.
• Elaboració i suport en memòries justificatives: preparar documents justificatius de caràcter administratiu i financer, en col·laboració amb els gestors de projectes i les àrees implicades.
• Justificació administrativa de projectes competitius: donar suport en la preparació i presentació de justificacions econòmiques, vetllant per la correcta aportació dels documents requerits.
• Gestió de recursos de personal i seguiment de la signatura de timesheets: coordinar i revisar el registre d’hores del personal assignat als projectes, garantir la correcta signatura dels timesheets i donar suport en la gestió de recursos humans vinculats als projectes.

2CAT està cercant un/a Project Manager en Cultura Digital per a incorporar-se a l'equip de Public Sector Innovation (PSI).

Concretament des de l'àrea de PSI estem cercant un/a persona amb un mínim de 3 anys d'experiència liderant projectes d'innovació en l'àmbit de les tecnologies digitals avançades en sectors com Cultura i Administració Pública.

El/la candidat/a treballarà en el marc de diferents projectes d'aplicació tecnològics per tal de promoure la innovació tecnològica en el sector cultural català mitjançant:

• Definició de polítiques i estratègies d'innovació social i digital per al Departament de Cultura (propostes per a la implementació d'innovació tecnològica i estudis comparatius internacionals)
• Capacitació i assessorament estratègicament en tecnologies digitals avançades i innovació social i digital.
• Gestió de comunitats d'innovació (dinamització de l'ecosistema creatiu digital català i elaboració del Llibre Blanc de la Cultura Digital a Catalunya)
• Gestió d'oficines d'innovació tecnològica per al Departament de Cultura i als sectors culturals.
• Gestió d'infraestructures i laboratoris experimentals (conceptualització, disseny i posada en marxa de proves pilot d'estudis d'interactivitat, immersivitat i R+D de creativitat digital).

Les principals responsabilitats del/la candidat/a seran:

• Lideratge i coordinació de projectes d'innovació tecnològica de diferents tecnologies: Big Data, IA, Blockchain, IoT, NewSpace.
• Definició dels requeriments tècnics i funcionals previs a l'inici de projecte.
• Priorització de les tasques i fites associades al projecte per tal de garantir un compliment tant funcional com pressupostari.
• Gestió de la qualitat, riscos, canvis d'abast i planificació del projecte.
• Garantir l'alineació amb els objectius de l'equip i els reptes de l'entitat.
• Col·laboració amb altres Àrees i2CAT (Desenvolupament de Negoci, Recerca, Administració, EU Policy, Tech Transfer, Comunicació).
• Realització de reunions de seguiment periòdiques amb el client (administració pública) per reportar l'avenç del projecte.
• Elaboració d'informes i control de la documentació relativa al projecte.

L'equip de PSI és responsable de:

• Gestió de projectes tecnològics: Liderar i supervisar el cicle de vida dels projectes per garantir-ne l'èxit.
• Disseny de solucions tecnològiques: Suport en la definició i conceptualització de l'arquitectura necessària per a l’execució dels projectes, en col·laboració amb les àrees d'innovació d'i2CAT o altres agents tecnològics.
• Documentació: Generació d’informes i elaboració de comparatives de mercat.
• Gestió de partners i comunitats: Dinamitzar ecosistemes digitals en tecnologies digitals avançades, realitzant activitats de co-creació, coordinació d'esdeveniments, etc.
• Col·laboració interdisciplinària amb diferents departaments d'i2CAT per garantir el bon funcionament del PSI i la correcta transferència de coneixement als clients del sector públic.
• Detecció i gestió d'oportunitats i presentació d'ofertes de nous projectes d'innovació.

The i2CAT Foundation (Barcelona) is opening a position to advance in the research and innovation field of high quality 3D reconstruction, both offline and in real-time.

The candidate will join i2CAT’s Media Tech group, which is composed of over 20 experienced researchers and engineers in the fields of distributed and interactive multimedia systems and media processing, and is involved in relevant R&I projects with the European and national ecosystems, in close collaboration with key players from academia and industry.

This area is seeking a Senior Research Engineer with experience in the application of Machine Learning techniques applied to 3D/Volumetric reconstruction. The ideal candidate should have experience with different ML architectures and frameworks used in the field of Computer Vision and 3D reconstruction. The candidate should also be highly knowledgeable in pinhole camera modeling and parameterization. . Additionally, having experience in GPU programming is a plus (e.g.: CUDA/OpenCL). The candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research, innovation and development tasks. In particular, the candidate in charge of building custom datasets, designing and testing new algorithms and solutions in the field of 3D reconstruction and integrating the developed solutions into our platform.

The candidate should be highly self-driven while also capable of seamlessly collaborating hand-in-hand with different experts within i2CAT and highly relevant international partners from academia and industry under the umbrella of competitive national and international projects (Horizon Europe, European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking, SNS JU).

The results from the planned research and development activities are expected to lead to high-impact scientific publications, technology/knowledge transfer (e.g., open-source software, patents, contributions to standards), resulting cutting-edge software and services, and career development opportunities.

The candidate, along with the 3D reconstruction team within Media Tech, will be involved in the development of novel methods to enhance the quality of our 3D holoportation system using advanced computer vision approaches. The candidate will also be in charge of exploring other 3D reconstruction solutions for tasks such as 3D reconstruction of large scenarios (e.g.: a city monument and surroundings) and offline high definition and high fidelity human reconstruction. Besides, the candidate will be actively involved in the development of Media Tech’s active National/European projects (Such as Didymos,XRECO and PRESENCE)

In particular, the candidate duties can be summarized as:

• Design and test new models to enhance the quality of our current real-time holoportation system.
• Integration of novel solutions in the current system.
• Explore and design novel 3D reconstruction methods for other relevant use cases such as large scenarios 3D reconstruction or high definition avatars.
• Third party technologies integration and innovation.

This area is seeking a highly Research Engineer with experience in volumetric video streaming to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have experience with video codecs, low level programming (C/C++). Additionally, having experience in GPGPU is a plus (Such as CUDA/OpenCL). The candidate will be in charge of maintaining and adding new features to the volumetric video compression pipeline.

Moreover, the candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research, innovation and development tasks. All this R&I&D will shape the future of HoloMIT, collaborating hand-in-hand with experts in the media and networks domains under the umbrella of competitive national and international projects (Horizon Europe, European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking, SNS JU), including the collaboration with highly relevant international partners from academia and industry.
